about

Solstice Realignments is our answer to the "Solstice EP" [FR0-1 0.002], which was released on December 21st, 2008. Solstice Realignments features remixes of all the tracks that were featured on the Solstice EP. Starting off we have Bryan Zentz giving m.0's "Super Mental" a high octane funk infused techno make-over bound to set fire to any summer time dance floor. We move along to Aaron Nesbit's very creepy rendition of Let's Go Outside's already disturbed "A Room Without Doors" yielding a chunked up funk/tech house number certain to make the kids want more while scratching their heads- "what?”. On to the winner of From 0-1's remix contest for Sone's "Recovery Mode"; The Automatic Message lands one of the biggest submarine bass drops known to man after a grating industrial edged intro leading into one hell of a deep number. We then have Kynd shattering Jerry Abstract's "Glass Chatter" and turning it into swift maelstrom of opposites combining grating industrial style machine noise with future forward pads and textures. And last but not least Justin Byrnes treats Milkplant's moody "Wide Jaw" with some summer time sunshine and flips a 180, revealing a super smooth deep house infused hit perfect for that special moment the sun breaches the mid-summer horizon.
